| Abstract: | A mixture of songs to tribal tunes. The language is Paiwan. The song names are: 1) How Pretty I Am; 2) Old Man's Happiness; 3) I Miss You; 4) A Lady Misunderstood. From a collection of 10 gramophone recordings in Paiwan and other languages, from 1950s, by missionaries working with the Presbyterian church in Taiwan. Apologies for the poor tuning in some parts of this recording, which is due to warping of the gramophone record. |
