Abstract: A mixture of songs to tribal tunes, in the Paiwan language. The song titles are: 1) Song of Recovery; 2) How Great a Soldier; 3) Few Signs of Life in Mountains; 4) Young Man's Song; 5) Girl's Song. The poor tuning in places is due to warping of the record. From a collection of 10 gramophone recordings in Paiwan and other languages, from 1950s, by missionaries working with the Presbyterian church in Taiwan.
