Recto: beginning of a letter (or report), followed by a 'poem' in Arabic script, mentioning Baghdad, which may be part of the letter. Verso: rhymed continuation of the letter or report on recto, in which the writer recalls inter alia his meeting with the head of the Palestinian Yeshiva as well as other historical events.
