| Abstract: | In this short presentation, we will survey current and future research into efforts to integrate DSpace with 'grid' technologies for more scalable storage. After a general introduction to the grid, we examine the work surrounding DSpace and the Storage Resource Broker (SRB), a data grid middleware component developed by the San Diego Supercomputing Center. DSpace 1.3 will include some SRB support. Work extending this integration in the context of DSpace 2.0 will also be described. |
