201 x 151 mm. Showing a crowd gathered round the Governor of Newfoundland, Sir Ralph Champneys Williams, as he makes a speech standing beside the first train on the Bonavista Line. This event took place in 1911. Williams (1848-1927) was Governor of Newfoundland 1909-1913.
