Abstract: This is a film about the important student of the Nepal Himalayas, B.H.Hodgson, who was British Resident there in the nineteenth century and made many valuable collections now in the British Library and elsewhere.
Description: This was an experimental film, the first under the sponsorship of the Rivers Video Project, made in 1983 by Tristram Riley-Smith and others, on extremely early umatic and simple editing equipment. Lasts about 40 minutes.</description>
